Jack Black

Jack Black is volcanic joy, a round and irrepressible force whose energy predates irony. The power slides in "Tribute" with Tenacious D are performed with absolute commitment to absurdity, and his turn in School of Rock vibrates with genuine reverence for the loud guitar. He sweats enthusiasm. Molten orange erupting through cracked obsidian, heavy bass-frequency reds, warm spotlight gold, and the deep black of a cranked Marshall amp.
